Melt Capabilities
- 2 10-ton mega-watt Ajax melting furnaces
- 2 10-ton Inductotherm holding furnaces
- Metal is melted in the Ajax furnaces and transferred via 5 ton ladles to the Inductotherm holders.
This allows for time to dial in the chemistry and the temperature of the iron.
It also provides 40 tons of holding capability.
- The dual furnace set-up provides plenty of capacity so molten iron is not a constraint
